Rescue
While the team is competitive, Touch N Go is also very involved in rescue work. Through team fundraisers, team member donations and fostering, we have been able to place close to 300 dogs into new homes since the team's inception. Through flyball, we are able to place a lot of high-energy, working dogs in loving and active homes that understand their needs. We have also found wonderful pet homes for many lower energy dogs.
One-fourth of our team's dogs were rescued from regional shelters and breed groups or given up to new homes by their original owners (re-homed). The five fastest rescue singles dogs in U-FLI are TNG-rescue alumni: Sage (3.693 sec), Vengeance (3.781 sec), Holly (3.828 sec), Spirit (3.830 sec) and Shark (3.836 sec). Spirit and Vengeance also form U-FLI's fastest all-time pairs team.
